TopTopLast-hit with autos so empowered Q stays aimed at the champion, because red Q is how Vladimir top rents space, forces respect on the wave, and breaks freezes before they become starvation lanes
Vladimir’s cleanest fight pattern is to stay attached through Hemoplague’s timer—Q-R, then E-W, or R-E-Flash-Q when Flash creates the angle—so your damage and healing compound instead of ending on one rotation
Top Vladimir usually wants side lane to be a runway, not a home: collect the wave, then use Flash + Ghost timing to arrive as a combat carry, because this pick skews much more toward fight access than TP-style side-lane insurance
Use side lane until it stops being a setup and starts being a duel. Vladimir top wants the wave for income and timing, but once the lane gets long enough that a bruiser can force first contact on you, you are usually staying too long. Push the wave you can safely push, then move while Ghost, Flash, or objective timing still gives your rotation teeth. If your summoners are down, the next fight is not soon, or the enemy top is already waiting in fog for the all-in, shorten the trip: catch the wave, trim it, and leave. The side lane is good when it buys arrival. It is bad when it asks you to prove you are a duelist.
Every 30 points of bonus Health gives Vladimir 1 Ability Power and every 1 point of Ability Power gives Vladimir 1.6 bonus Health (does not stack with itself).
Vladimir steals life from the target enemy. When Vladimir's resource is full, Transfusion will benefit from massively increased damage and healing for a brief time.
Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood, becoming untargetable for 2 seconds. Additionally, enemies on the pool are slowed and Vladimir siphons life from them.
Vladimir pays his own health to charge up a reservoir of blood which, when released, deals damage in the area around him but can be blocked by enemy units.
Vladimir infects an area with a virulent plague. Affected enemies take increased damage for the duration. After a few seconds, Hemoplague deals magic damage to infected enemies and heals Vladimir for each enemy Champion hit.
